Sherri came to meet Ukulapha and the people of Slangspruit and Imbali during November/December 2008. It was her first visit to South Africa and we were thrilled to welcome her as our first visitor and volunteer to Ukulapha.

We were thrilled to welcome her; she spent 2 months with us, January to March 2010 and survived the heat!

Heather Ferris & Gary Greenstein from Duncan, B.C. Canada

In January/February 2009 Heather and Gary stayed in Slangspruit to meet the community and Ukulapha and work with Slangspruit Primary School. Although we had to search, we managed to find them a room.
